Throughout history, adaptation has been one of the most important elements of human survival. A quality, which in spite of our susceptibility to external pressures, grants us the strength to never give up on our personal interests. This struggle has changed the form or has lead to a variety of forms of private life. In consideration of the environment they are placed in, each person presents a different side of themselves or pretends to be a different person entirely. However, the increase of external pressures as well as the multitude of shifting personalities compels us to view adaptation as the source of an identity crisis. In the midst of the constant shifts and performances individual identity is lost, the search for a true self is left unanswered, and man becomes a stranger to himself.
